The Bullfrog Band

Rhythm 'n' Blues / Rock

About Me

The Bullfrog Band have never had hit singles, best selling albums, been models of fashion or had intricate details of their individual members sex life's splashed around the Sunday papers or appeared on Top of the Pops or The Old Grey Whistle Test or been the subject of tabloid abuse..But they make good music, bloody good music, if I might make so bold, indeed what this band are all about is great tunes, delivered with passion & commitement. They have an uncanny knack of breaking through the so called generation gap. Theirs is a happy bag. Due to their uncomplicated approach & the firm belief that the public should be entertained, everybody digs them, the young, the old, the sane, the mad.And as innumerable rock groups come & go, only the Bullfrogs & a few select others manage to exert a continuing, undiminished magnetism. And the reason is simple: they are unique, flaunting no special "thing" except an exuberant conviction and a style as marvelously off-beat as their name.Take Rhythm 'n' Blues, with a mean harp player, a guitarist with a blues voice, add a pounding rhythm section & you've got one hell of a good night out.The Bullfrogs are the band to see live, they create so much energy & excitment & definitely know how to party, you may go home with a sore throat or your feet may ache from all of the singing and dancing, but there is no chance of you going home unsatisfied.Compliments and comparisons have been made to Early Yardbirds, Steve Marriott, Rory Gallagher & the Count Bishops, so the band are doing something right. The Bullfrogs will be coming your way soon - miss them at your peril. Also check out http://www.bullfrogband.co.uk loads more info and even jokes/trivia
