Keith Johnson - Founder of NEAR and Producer/Host of the local (Rhode Island) television Paranormal Talk Show 'Ghosts R NEAR'
Keith has had an interest in the paranormal since he was a teenager when he had phenomena occur in his own home. In the seventies, he was a member of the paranormal research group Parapsychology Investigation & Research Organization, out of RI College. He has worked with The Atlantic Paranormal (TAPS) he has been featured on the hit SciFi series Ghost Hunters as a consulting demonologist. With his strong faith, he has been able to assist many clients undergoing spiritual problems and negative phenomena and is a demonology consultant for TAPS, New England Paranormal and many other paranormal research organizations. When not investigating potential inhuman hauntings or involved in the production of Ghosts R NEAR, Keith enjoys spending time with his wife (Sandra, co-founder of NEAR) and 19-year-old son (Keith Jr.) and lecturing and conducting classes on the paranormal. Keith is also an actor and singer. He was involved with Trinity Rep Extension, in Providence, RI, and has been seen as an extra in such films as Meet Joe Black and Amistad. He is in the midst of writing a book chronicling his investigative experiences.

Sandra's interest in the paranormal actually began when she met and married her husband, Keith, the Founder of NEAR. She began investigating as an assistant demonologist with The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) and eventually branched off to co-found NEAR and focus more on assisting clients with potential inhuman hauntings. Her view of the paranormal is objective and she considers herself an open-minded skeptic. The psychology and physiological aspects of alleged hauntings is a particular interest. She can usually be found by Keith's side, either investigating with NEAR or assisting another organization with negative or inhuman hauntings. When not case managing investigations or working on production of Ghosts R NEAR, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 19-year-old son (also named Keith) and assisting with classes and lectures on the paranormal.
