Coloratura Soprano, Nicole Williams, is a multi-talented performer. She attended Howard University in Washington, DC: Inspired by her first love, the french horn, she has an array of experience from Classical Voice & Gospel, to jazz & hip hop. She has performed at the Kennedy Center for the Arts, Washington National Cathedral, Basilica National Shrine, and has been on stage with such artists as Yolanda Adams, Vanessa Williams, Richard Smallwood, and Janice Chandler-Eteme. She is best noted for her performance of "Someday" arranged by Nathan Carter, with the her church family at Metropolitan Baptist Church Music Ministry in Washington, DC, under the leadership of Nolan Williams, Jr. and Rev. Dr. H. B. Hicks, Jr..
Nicole began her musical studies as an exceptional french horn player at age 11. She won various competitions and scholarships throughout Southwest Florida, and performed Mozart's Concerto No. 3 as soloist with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra at age 17. By 1998, she placed third in Florida's All State Band, and was nominated as the Principal Horn player at Eastman School of Music's Horizons program. Nicole has worked with former Principal Horn of the London Symphony Orchestra & Three time Grammy nominated artist, Barry Tuckwell, Mary Bisson of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Dave Krehbiel of the San Francisco Symphony, Joe Lovinsky of Pershing's Own Army Band & Robert Routch, Jazz Horn. She is a veteran of the 257th Army Band in Washington, DC. She is currently a proud member of The Empowerment Temple AME Church in Baltimore, MD where Jonathon Nelson is the Minister of Music, and the pastor is Dr. Jamal. H. Bryant. Nicole is the daughter of proud parents, Mr. & Mrs. Keith Williams.
