proud to be me - happy to tell you all about it. i'm joyful pretty much all the time. i'm so 'conscious' that i'm aware of what a ridiculously pejorative term it is. i'm hectic. i am from england. i have come back to the middle. i love my friends and family - fiercely. my politics are my food choices are my organizations are my choice of a mate (there is no separation...don't kid yourself friends:)). i wear bright colors almost exclusively. i don't tolerate foolishness. unless it's the 'kickin it w/your silly friends' type. i am a scholar because i believe it's our responsibility to research, study, practice, and TEACH. i am serious about the arts - especially music. which would explain why i have a degree in jazz but own a clothing company. i believe it's important for cats to achieve and maintain knowledge of self. i have no regrets. truly. i appreciate my grandparents. i am attracted to those that display a dedication to their passion. i believe that no matter what language you speak - whether english, spanish, portuguese, french, arabic or otherwise - if your ancestry is african, it is your responsibility to claim it. i strive to practice what i preach - all the time, not just when it's convenient. i'm far more humble than you might think. i've been a vegetarian since i was 10. but i'm not a vege-nazi. i prefer to tell the truth. and if i can't, i'd rather not say anything at all. i don't preach - i'd rather let grown folks be grown folks - lead by example. i am fair, hence 'libra' - even when it might be disadvantageous to me to do so. i am a bibliophile. i am unabashedly proud of my heritage and ancestry. i give to the 'economically less fortunate', because i would hope for the same. i am a reflection of your light. i believe in the solidity, certainty and love of the Creator - all that we experience - and the truth of living in his light...just not diluted man-made, man-directed, blasphemous ways of attempting to recreate him. i cultivate my relationships because i believe in the power of investing in people. i love to dance. your mama would like me. i cherish the earth. my peoples are the realist real folk there ever was. i'm sincere. especially when i say that i'm...pleased you're here. welcome.
