there are a lot of people in my life that i admire...
my mother, for always being there for her family, even when it drove her crazy...
GOD - i had a bit of a falling away at one poitn in my life, right before i moved to alaska...however, i learned quickly that without Him i couldn't make it... there were many times that He carried me, and brought people into my life that could help keep me going...
my friends, who were always there for me, even when i didn't know it: anna, colleen, dana, minta, daniel, richard, ray, steifon, josh, logun, gloria, tiffany, steve, kenton, zach, shawn, kaela, kelly, all of the people that were there for me when i was so far away from everything i knew... you guys are wonderful, couldn't have made it through without you!!
my cousin, corey, and her parents
my fiance, richard, for overcoming so many things, and for being able to tolerate me
those in the armed forces and their significant others
my father, even though he pisses me off from time to time...
my cousin cayce, who lived every day with such vivacity...

"You can't do anything about the length of your life,
but you can do something about its width and depth."
Rest in peace, Cayce. A thousand people will miss you. I feel so blessed that I had the honor of knowing you the past 19 years, and I wish more people had the opportunity to know you. You always made me smile, and thinking about you still does! I'll see ya again darlin. Love you always.
The pathway is broken
and the signs are unclear,
and I don't know the reason why You brought me here;
but just because You love me the way that You do,
I'm gonna walk through the valley if You want me to.
Cause I'm not who I was when I took my first step
and I'm clinging to the promise You're not through with me yet;
so if all of these trials bring me closer to You -
Then I will walk through the fire if You want me to.
It may not be the way I would have chosen
when you lead me through a world that's not my home,
but You never said it would be easy;
You only said I'd never go alone.
So when the whole world turns against me,
and I'm all by myself;
and I can't hear You answer my cries for help;
I'll remember the suffering Your love put You through,
and I will go through the valley if You want me to.
