Why Decision For The Masses 1 I hear you say? Why not ask me...What have i done so far? I played in Paris at the Jeff Buckley tribute in November 2006, at The halpenny Bridge Inn in Dublin, I sang on Kerrang Radio in Birmingham on Ugly Phil's Breakfast Show, I played at the Walkabout Bar in Newquay, at the Coombe barton Inn in Crackington Haven and I regularly sing at the Takeroo Pub in Cannock...A bit about me? i have been writing songs since i was in sixth form and i wrote my first song with my mate Rob Porter - he made the mistake of showing me the Am chordWhy do you sing and play? I learned to play the guitar out of need rather than desire - something to sing over - i have a real issue with re-recording my vocals -I enjoy being in the moment - plus - there isn't the time - so everything on here is a first take vocals...Who do you cover? I cover the Manics - Jeff buckley - Nirvana - Sting - and a whole host of other people from "far too big" cd collection What am i hoping to achieve? People to enjoy my songs - people to want to come and see me live...
Dream? i would like to sit with James Dean Bradfield and go through my stuff with him...too much to ask? i would like to sing at Sin-E and the Bataclan - i don't know - i would love to sing on a Jeff Buckley Tribute - i would like to sing on the Jools Holland show...
What's this video all about then? It's a song idea - i pressed record and sang what ever came off the top of my head on the 17-09-2006 - it's only on a camera phone so i could get the idea down before i forgot it...and then i thought why not post it on the site - thanks for the compliments so far - you all appear to love the voice and think i should record it properly...watch this space...
