Formed in 2001, Hot Mangu is a crazed fusion of musical stylings, uniquely crafted and powerfully delivered.
This high-energy foursome take elements of funk and hip-hop then merge them seamlessly with Rock and Metal - it's a tried and tested formula that works. The band released their 1st EP Splat Metal through AUBL.net in October 2003, playing to sell-out crowd at the AUBL Halloween CD Launch show. After extensive touring around Scotland during 2005 Hot Mangu started working on their debut album 444 Number of the Orange which was released through Fat Hippy Records in April 2006 (the album is currently the fastest selling album on Fat Hippy Records) it also features a self-produced DVD presentation
