Craig Smith

I was born to be a country musician.

About Me

I play lead guitar for Sunny Sweeney. I am Scottish. I play guitar all the time. My guitar style is heavily influenced by, ALBERT LEE (the king), ANGUS YOUNG, BRAD PAISLEY, BRAD DAVIS, JAMES MITCHELL, REDD VOLKAERT, JEDD HUGHES, BRENT MASON, ALVIN LEE, ERIC HOKKENNEN, MATT BAKER (ex. Roger Creager lead guitar man.), TREVOR LA BONTE (Gary P. Nunn band.). There are many others, but at this point in my life these pickers are reverberating through my musical soul the most. When i sing, i sing in an American voice, because it just comes natural. I like to play country and bluegrass mainly but my shred and jazz chops are getting better slowly but surely, i just try to do a little of everything, music theory fascinates me, but mainly i just like to plug in, turn it up and rock out !
