About Me

Welcome to myspace. At the young age of twenty-six James Langevin is one of Toronto's most sought after pianists. Since studying with virtuso Andrew Burashko for four years at the Glenn Gould Professional School Mr. Langevin has been in high in depand. Recently appearing as a guest artist for the National Ballet of Canada. Presently on faculty at the National Ballet School and Company Pianist for the acclaimed Toronto Dance Theater. Heavily involved in Toronto dance projects he recently recorded the Beethoven Kreutzer Sonata for the Toronto Fringe Festival adapted by David Collins. As well performing a new Canadian work by composer Njo Kong Kie, The Futueres Market, a twelve minute Opera with members of the COC for the Actor's Guild Fundraiser. Growing up listening to Micheal Jackson and Mozart alongside each other developed a strong sense of joining old with new or vice versa and to explore the possibilities of neo-classicism. jMusic was established in 2006 as a creative outlet to explore new ideas and feelings, there's a CD in the works. Thanks for visiting!I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
