Deborah Latz’s debut album, Toward Love, has garnered critical acclaim both in the United States and in Europe.
Live in Paris! Deborah made her Paris debut at Sept Lezards on November 29, 2005 with legendary pianist, Alain Jean-Marie, bassist, Gilles Naturel and drummer, Elisabeth Keledjian.
Toward Love was featured the week of January 16, 2006 on CBC Radio Two in Canada on their After Hours program from 10pm to 12am.

Deborah recorded the original song, I’m Neurotic Over You for the off-Broadway comedy, High Infidelity at The Promenade Theater in New York City.

Deborah won the Best Actress Award at The Jerzy Grotowski Theatre Festival in Wroclav, Poland, for her performance in the one-woman drama, Juliet. She also performed Juliet in The NY International Fringe Festival at The Red Room Theatre.
Deborah wrote, produced and performed the one-woman musical, Travels With Ma Own Self, which received rave reviews in New York and Europe.
Deborah Latz received diplomas from the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England.

Influences: Dorothy Lamour, Bob Hope and Bing Crosby, and MGM musicals with Lena Horne, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Those performers had style, class, mystery and a quirky sense of humor. Betty Carter, Ella Fitzgerald, Bill Evans, Sarah Vaughan, Nina Simone, Sonny Stitt, Carmen McRae, Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis, Stan Getz, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Mel Torme, Sonny Rollins, Rosemary Clooney, John Coltrane, Etta James, Alberta Hunter, Billie Holiday, Dave Brubeck, Ruben Gonzales and Johnny Hartman. All of these fine musicians have touched my soul.
