The Ranch Band

"The Ranch Band" is a Norwegian band playing spiritual bluegrass and country music. The lead singers, Kent M. Johnsen and Marita Johnsen, are son and daughter of preacher and country-gospel singer Svein Johnsen (also hosting shows on a European christian TV channel named "TV Visjon Norge/Vision Norway".) They were brought up on country classics and the word of the Lord, and started performing together with their father in early age. Now they`re spreading the gospel with their own band, "The Ranch Band". Marita has now returned from Tennessee were she's been preforming as lead singer with The Turkey Creek Bluegrass Band for three months. The rest of the band had their trip to Nashville Nov. 24. and stayed for ten days. -Yooohoo!! They did a TV show and a couple of small gigs in country churches (small gigs, but major blessings!) And also recorded a bluegrass/ac. country album in a studio (Dawghouse studio,) just outside of Nashville. -The band is also just about to rec. a DVD with both bluegrass and el. country setting.
