I was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky . Grew up playing and singing Country , Bluegrass and Gospel . My uncle Arthur (Pastor Sam) Smith ( pastor in Salyersville Kentucky )was the person that taught me a few chords on my old guitar which got me going. My family and I moved to Florida about 6 years ago. I still go back home to Eastern Kentucky several times a year to keep current on whats happening.My main influence is Tom T. Hall . He was from Eastern Ky and wrote and sang the songs that touched my soul. I have sang his songs for years and will keep them alive as long as I'm alive. I got to go meet Tom T. Jan 12/08 really enjoyed his company. I have also got to give God credit for all the blessings in my life and my familys. Without him in my life I don't know where I'd be. (Most likely not alive) He's always there for me . I searched so many years for happiness and when I found him ,I found it. I remember when I heard someone talking about what God had done in their life , I thought they were nut's. Now I'm one of those nut's and lovin it. If you want a good change in your life.
