“Blues rock with passion”
Danny Bryant’s Redeyeband, have been playing professionally now for nine years. Danny was born in Hertfordshire England in July 1980, and still resides there today. Ken Bryant on bass and Trevor Barr on drums complete this stellar line up.
First hailed as a ‘young guitar prodigy’ Danny began playing aged 15, turning professional just three years later, and in the last decade has paid his dues clocking up endless miles of travelling and approximately two thousand shows in many countries around the world.
After a decade of hard toil he now gets the recognition he so well deserves, being acknowledged by those in the business as one of the cream of the crop of this generation of blues artists.
In a career that has seen Danny perform alongside such names as Joe Cocker, Jeff Beck, Greg Allman, Patti Smith, Buddy Guy, Peter Green, and former Rolling Stone Mick Taylor to mention just a few, Danny and his band have steadily carved a huge and loyal fan base around the world.
So far the band have released five internationally acclaimed CDs, their fourth release ‘Days Like This’ featured a stunning duet with special guest blues legend Walter Trout (John Lee Hooker, Canned Heat, John Mayall) The following year saw Danny signing a deal with premier label Rounder Records, home to many blues legends.
The band’s current release ‘Live’, being far their most successful to date, hitting the I-Tunes top ten blues charts in 6 countries, including Italy where it is their labels most successful blues release to date, leading to major festival appearances and sold out club dates in a relentless touring schedule which has this year taken them to ten countries.
A track from ‘Live’has been released on a compilation CD, along with many other great bluesmen, including Johnny Winter, Gary Moore, Albert Collins, George Thorogood and ZZ Top.
Their massively anticipated 6th CD entitled ‘Black and White’ will be released in February 2008 by Rounder Europe and EMI Asia.

May/June 2008 Magazine Reviews/Quotes

GUITAR MAGAZINE
“So few guitar prodigies ever amount to anything, but this Herts-born guitarist, now in his late ‘20s delivers impassioned blues rock of a top-notch calibre that justifies his ever-growing reputation”.

CLASSIC ROCK MAG.
Blues album of the Month
“Black & White” is surely enough to push Bryant to his rightful place on the podium. He’s more confident in his skin as a performer & starting to blossom as a songwriter. It this doesn’t tip him over the edge, we’ll eat out hats”.

GUITARIST MAGAZINE 'It's difficult not to admire Danny Bryant, & reassuring to listen to someone so refreshingly honest & whose playing comes over like the spiritual progeny of Walter Trout. It’s not just Danny’s no-holds-barred approach to the guitar that echoes Walter’s ethos”.

GUITAR TECHNIQUES
“This is good quality stuff with some truly excellent fretwork & warm tones which provide a real lift. The album has a lot to offer”.

HiFi +
“These 10 songs are a fusion of taught, bluesy rockers & keenly observed soulful ballads, all delivered with excellent professionalism by an amazing talent. Anyone who thinks the Americans have sole ownership of the blues should give this a listen”.

BLUES MATTERS
"While Danny and his excellent band could be put in the same frame as Walter Trout or Joe Bonamassa for example, this new CD, with its ten tracks, has that definable British edge to it. We are blessed here in the UK with many fine players and Danny is way up there with the best.

NET RHYTHMS
“Danny Bryant is one of the best guitar players that I have heard this year and that’s ‘black and white’.

GET READY TO ROCK
"Danny shows growing confidence on the blockbusting rock ballad ‘Love Remains’ which aside from being one of his best ever vocal outings is full of lashing of full toned wailing guitar that evokes the lyrics superbly. It’s the kind of song that I’m sure Joe Bonamassa would love to have written, but meanwhile I’m equally sure it’s going to be a Danny Bryant showstopper in years to come".

BLUES IN THE SOUTH
“Danny has been on the cusp of being a top-flight blues act for some time now. This CD may do the trick for him. The CD ranges from the laid back acoustic track after which the album is named “Black & White” – to stunning stadium rock like “Last Goodbye”. There is no doubt that Danny has a ferocious talent.”

BLUES IN BRITAIN
“Danny has an intuitive understanding of blues-rock & is Rounder Europe’s best selling blues artist. This is a classic sound, working within tight boundaries and hitting the target every time. Anyone who has ever appreciated the classic power trio (Hendrix, Cream etc.) will love this – guaranteed”

THE CRACK
(Newcastle) “British guitarist Danny Bryant is being promoted as the UK’s Joe Bonamassa an artist with whom he’s already shared a stage, & judging by this album the comparison has validity with searing heavy blues guitar played with verve & passion, spread across 10 self-penned tracks. There’s also light & shade provided by the slower songs, including the standout ‘Any Wonder’. Bryant also provides some excellent raw, impassioned vocals.

CLASSIC ROCK SOCIETY
"No longer the new kid on the block, Danny Bryant is now firmly established amongst the elite of the British Blues scene. This new album has all the familiar Bryant traits, rough hewn vocals & ballistic guitar solos, Danny remains head & shoulders above many of his contemporaries".

THE INDEPENDENT “British blues guitar slinger takes his new album “Black & White” on the road with his powerhouse trio, the RedEyeBand. Bryant has a huge international reputation as a blues player. Check out why - Going out No. 1 best gigs 19-25th April.

BLUES NEWS “Powerhouse blues-rock is what the Danny Bryant’s Redeyeband trio purvey on “Black & White”. Danny is rapidly rising star on the British blues scene & beyond & this ten track album proves it is deserved”.

BURTON DAILY MAIL “A talented guitarist in a timeless electric blues style, Bryant’s honesty & genuine graft have won him a decent following, none of whom will be disappointed by this typically gritty set”.

MUSIC NEWS.COM "If you are a fan of hard Blues & a lover of guitar heroes there isn't a minute of this album you won't cherish".

PHOENIX FM/ASHWYN SMYTH "Danny's vocal delivery compliments his guitar playing and he is the master of the emotion dripping and passion filled rock blues ballad. Whether his guitar is raging and spitting fire or it is singing like the sweetest & most delicate songbird, his playing is measured & controlled, the tone always appropriate as he runs the whole range in one number".

WAVENEY ADVERTISER "Black & White"is his 6th album & as with all Danny's material it goes on to confirm how this young lad is a complete master of the guitar. The songs are polished but hold onto the raw enthusiasm & excitement that makes a song fresh & appealing each & every time you hear it".

GREAT YARMOUTH ADVERTISER “Danny Bryant has an awe-inspiring ability to write & play tracks that hold such passion, whether it be from the screaming guitar solos, the smooth blues licks or the soulful edgy vocals. If you have not heard this prodigy’s work, you don’t know what you are missing – you need this album”.

Few could blame Bryant and his troupe for having bloodshot eyes. Nine years on the circuit -but still just 28 -the Hertfordshire guitarist remains a hero to the European blues magpies who have picked up on his glittering past form, but a source of shrugged shoulders to the uninitiated majority on home turf, Sixth album Black And White is the latest offensive in this war of attrition, and surely enough to push Bryant to his rightful place on the podium. It's not that anything much has changed in his modus operandi -tracks like Tell Me and Love Remains respectively make use of the tough and tender sides of his Idiosyncratic guitar style and Jon-BonJovi-gargling-gravel vocals -but the overall impression is that Bryant is more confident in his skin as a performer and starting to blossom as a songwriter, If this doesn't tip him over the edge, we'll eat our hats.

'After four self produced albums and numerous exciting performances across Europe leading to the eponymous "Live" album that took the European blues community by a storm in 2007, Danny Bryant and his Redeyeband now return to the forefront of rocking blues with their sixth CD named by Danny's new acoustic song "Black and White". Recorded at the fabulously analogue Grange Studios UK these 10 self penned songs mark a major highlight in Danny's 10 year career. As ever his voice is packed with heartfelt soul and many songs have been dedicated to and written for the love of his life. Danny Bryant together with Redeyeband rhythm section Ken Bryant and Trevor Barr, magnificently supervised by blues recording legend Dave Williams, has come up with what in retrospect may well be one of his career albums.'
