New 4 Song Demo available FREE at shows

About Me

From the ashes of Toronto Indie bands LOKI, MANIC, and The SILENCED has arisen a newer, stronger, more phoenix-esquer-like musical lifeform; a being called WAXMEN .
Members James Stefanuk, Tyson Froese and Shawn Royal have devoted themselves to a garden of blooming sonic loti, which after much nurturing and (devil-may) care are now unleashing on the public. After 6 months of woodshedding and crafting/dissecting songs, the guys entered the studio to lay down 4 of their tracks demo style. After a hurlyburly weekend of playing, mixing and mastering the songs are now posted on this very site so people can get a taste of what WAXMEN are about. The tracks are free to download, so feel free to grab them and share them with everyone you know.
On April 23rd, 2008, WAXMEN took the stage to give life to the machine they have finely crafted. The band rocked through an intense and energetic 50 minute set, and when it was all over the crowd was completely entranced. Captivated by the smooth lead vocals, infectious groove supported by a thick bass & drums pocket, precicely layered harmonies, accented all by flairs of brilliant and stunning guitar leads the crowd knew that WAXMEN had arrived and were here to make a big splash in the pool known as "The Indie Music Scene".
WAXMEN are currently booking shows throughout the vast landscape we call North America, so be sure to check back often for show updates. You think you like the Waxmen now, wait til you see them live...
