"The best and most beautiful things in the world can not be seen or even touched. They must be felt

About Me

I have been practicing yoga since 1987 with master yoga teachers Swami Padmananda (style: hatha), Zoe Stewart (Iyengar), Liz Owen (Iyengar), Patricia Walden and others. I continue to take classes with mentor, Master Iyengar teacher Zoe Stewart and private yoga sessions with mentor Iyengar teacher Liz Owen.I am the owner and instructor at EssentialYoga Studio and teach Iyengar style yoga classes. Levels taught range from beginning students to advanced intermediate students. I am also a 2nd degree Usui Reiki practitioner. Married for 20 years! Two beautiful children :) I am more of an introvert and prefer time alone rather than being with a lot of people.Myspace Backgrounds

I'm a Hippie Yogi!

A Hippie Yogi

When you're not doing yoga or marching in protests, you divide your time between hugging trees and flashing peace signs at people you don't know. You truly care about the world around you and take action to make it a better place for everyone to enjoy--including your furry friends. You're warm, welcoming, and a lot of fun.

Be careful, however, not to let your dedication to your cause alone determine your actions--take time for yourself every now and then, too. Everything in moderation will make you more balanced in your yoga practice and in your life.
