SPIRITUAL WISDOM
"All religions have the same reason."
Thich Nhat Hanh - Vietnamese Zen Buddhist monk, teacher, author, and peace activist
"When we have the capacity to accept and to love, we do not have reproach or enmity.
That love manifests in the way we look, in the way we speak.
When we look with the eye of compassion and loving kindness,
when we speak loving words, we are the ones who benefit first of all."
"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page."-- St. Augustine
"Traveling and eating are about letting things happen."

“Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis
on which the world revolves
- slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future.
Live the actual moment. Only this moment is life.†(Thich Nhat Hahn)

“Aspire to be like Mt. Fuji, with such a broad and solid foundation that the strongest earthquake cannot move you, and so tall that the greatest enterprises of common men seem insignificant from your lofty perspective. With your mind as high as Mt Fuji you can see all things clearly. And you can see all the forces that shape events; not just the things happening near to you.†- Miyamoto Musashi
