From the nature island of the Caribbean, Ras Perez became involved in music at a very early age. After years touring and recording in Dominica, Guadeloupe and Martinique ("Black Machine", "Midnight Groovers"), Salt Lake City ("Irie Heights"), New York and Boston ("New Generation Band") he moved to Europe and spent five years in Paris ("Ragga Dub Force", "Sai Sai", "Ton Ton David"). In '93 Ras Perez took a trip to visit some friends in Berlin and has been there ever since. From there he formed "The Reggae Ambassadubs" and released his first solo CD, "Over The Hills" in 1996. Since then Ras Perez has compiled a few solo projects for release.
RAS PEREZ, ein autodidaktischer Musiker von der Karibik-Insel Dominica brachte seine erste Solo CD Over the Hills 1996 heraus und war seitdem aktiv mit Auftritten in Deutschland und besonders in und um Berlin, der Heimat der Reggae Ambassadubs. Nach inneren und äußeren Veränderungen ist Ras Perez zurück mit einem neuen Album und Band. Roots Reggae Rhythmen, die nach vielen Jahren Erfahrung in der Musikszene einen breiteren musikalischen Einfluss ausdrücken.
Ne´ sur lile de la Dominique aux Caraibes, RAS PEREZ est musicien autodidacte. Il a sorti son premier album, « Over the Hills" en 1996 et joue assez souvent partout en Allemagne et aussi à Berlin, la base du groupe «Reggae Ambassadubs" . Apres avoir traverse´ des changements interne et externe, Ras Perez revient avec un nouvel album et orchestre. Des rythmes reggae roots qui expriment une influence plus large, acquise après des années dexpérience sur la scène musicale.

Após passar par transformacoes internas e externas, Ras Perez está de volta com um novo album e uma nova banda: Raízes e ritmos do reggae sao trabalhados, ampliados e acresantados às influencias musicais adquiridas em anos de experiencia em cena.
