THE STORY SO FAR...
Yo yo yo welcome all - MYSOUL aka Shane Kehoe - myspace! I'm going to keep this brief and tell it like it is... Dance music is my first and only love. I remember going to my first rave to see Altern-8 in 1992 at the Mansion House in Dublin...
I have been DJing since 1993 and back in the day I have played at lots of Irish clubs which in their own way were very influential; The Kitchen, The System, Temple of Sound (I loved that room and it taught me so much, it laid down the ground work for everything else to come) POD, The Red Box, The Funnel, The Mean Fiddler, The GPO And Columbia Mills etc etc.
During the early years I would travel and DJ for the summer months to countries including Germany, Greece, London and San Francisco. Hanging out in clubs like Tresor in Berlin and Cocoon in Frankfurt to 1015 Fulsom and The End Up in San Francisco were paramount in understanding different music scenes, making contacts and having a great time on the dance floor.
I moved over from Dublin to London in 2000 where I currently live. Since moving over to London I was awarded IDJ Raw Talent/top tape title. I was also runner up in the Muzik mags (RIP) bedroom bedlam competition.
IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEBODY TOTALLY IMMERSED IN THE SITUATION AND WANTING TO SEE PEOPLE LOSE THEMSELVES AND WORK IT ON OUT WITH THIS LOOPY, DRUGGY HOUSE SESSION. LOVELY TWEAKING OF EQ AND THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF FX. MYSOUL HAS THE TOUCH THAT PRE-EMPTS AND KEEPS THIS MIXING BUSINESS ROCKING" - IDJ MAG
After hooking up with my production partner Rob Hawk, we have been busy in the studio. We were behind the "Money For Nothing" bootleg of Dire Straights turning it into an electro house stomper with big stab lines and rattling beats (it was just waiting to be done, right Rob - now move those microwave ovens!) weeks before Deep Dish dropped there own version.
Right after that we got busy on our next offering "So Shockin!" This was signed by Gung-Ho! Recordings which is the creation of ex Underwater Records Label Manager, Matt Stuart. There has been a real buzz around this track and it's being played by Radio ONE, 2FM in Ireland, Galaxy FM, Ministry of Sound, and even as far as Bora Bora Ibiza. (I know this because I was dancing on the table at the time) The Ho! House mix was selected for the HOUSEXY compilation, the original has been selected for the ministry Of Sound Summer Clubbers Guide 2006 and also a new Paul Jackson mix CD entitled "it's only a mix tape" (which may I add is hotter the hell, nice one Paul!) Also a remix from the Japanese Pop stars which just takes the track to a different level. These guys know how to rock it... thanks for ripping it up Jap styleee! (And they're even paddys too, fantastic)
Aldrin (Zouk, Singapore) Loving this! Peak time funky electro action! Both mixes rock... Big!!
Colin Peters (Manumission) The original mix is good, whopping 4am main room stuff
Femme (DTPM/Ministry) Nice will def work! Prefer main mix
Stretch Silvester Wow! Hits the back of the net this one. Actually goes through the net! The original is safer and very useful! Great stuff
Timo Garcia (Berwick Street Records) Love the way this track picks up the pace, original is my favorites
Touche Yeah I did like this one
"Summer 2006 was the season Shane took his DJing to the next level and signed a residency with HOUSEXY. Since then Shane has busy tearing the roof off clubs and ripping up dance floors from San Paulo Brazil, Zinc Dubai, Es Vive Ibiza, Tripod Dublin, Powerzone Amsterdam, Frantic Poland, Platins Zurich, Club 7 Bahrain, Red Soho and of course the monthly HOUSEXY residency at the world famous Ministry of Sound London.“HOUSEXY is all about the party from beginning to end, it’s about quality house music, the feeling on the dance floor and I’m all about that! It’s a privilege to be working with such a great team from the tour managers, promoters, mangers and the rest of my fellow HOUSEXY DJ’s. Lets get it on!â€
Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Please feel free to get in contact. Besides that's what this is all about, networking, sharing the passion of music, and of course having the craic!
Keep da faith!

Queep Organic Music...
It's a guy you peeps may be familiar with, MYSOUL aka SHANE KEHOE. The Dublin-native, London-based producer/dj was featured on the old Queep Organic Music website, regularly, and you would have to say that he was one of the most technically gifted DJ's we featured over the years. His grasp of the cdj's whilst throwing in acapella's came to mind when we first thought of this release.... He was the first person we chose & thankfully he has been able to fit us into his busy schedule. Keeping him busy is a DJ'ing schedule with his MINISTRY OF SOUNDS "HOUSESEXY" residency taking him to the likes of Brazil, Ibiza, Dubai & all over the UK of course, and his various other appearances at nights around London. On a production level, the awesome electro-fied monster that is Rob Hawl and MYSOUL "So Shockin!" out on GUNG-HO RECORDINGS was massivly popular on the likes of BEATPORT & DJDOWNLOAD, being one of their biggest sellers over the past few months & was also included on the "HOUSESEXY SPRING 2006" album and a couple of MINISTRY OF SOUND albums, including "CLUBBERS GUIDE SUMMER 2006". This man is on fire right now! Burn baby BURN!!!
