Max Honeyman is the resident DJ at the Barn club, Penzance.
From the age of 14 max has been into music, specifically the DJ scene. Max is now 24 but has had what most people would consider a successful career over a short period of time.
Max started as the resident DJ at Trafelgy holiday camp and then progressed to Gossips night club, St Austell. He has also worked at Tall Trees in Newquay so Max has a good knowledge of what club goers want.
Max has also played along side Tall Paul at the tender age of 18!, the final set at the 2001 SAS Space Odyssey Ball, and played the warm up set for Stretch and Vern in 2002 at Run To The Sun.
Max holds Eric Morrello as his aspiration and since working at the Barn Club he has had the chance to work alongside an extensive variety of DJ’s from The Artful Dodger to Farley Jack Master Funk the “creator†of house music! This has given Max a grounded versatile edge to cover all music genres with what seems like relative ease.
Max is now planning to start producing his own music with a long term plan of having a record label of his own.
Max works Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays where he plays music to suit everyone’s needs, so come and check him out.
