Luke's first break came when Underwater Records signed his first EP 'Alias'. The release received major support from all the big names and was the number 3 highest selling download on Beatport.com for 2005.
From here, Luke wrote two EP's with DJ Loki for Gung-ho! ('Seamrider' and 'Alpaca'). He also dropped the 'Mayhem' EP which made its way into the DMC WMC and New Release buzz charts and the Cool Cuts chart.
2008 saw him DJing in Japan, Barcelona, Hong Kong, Thailand, London and New Zealand and the release of 'Find your Way'. The track was played by Andy George and Jaymo on BBC Radio 1 as well as other key stations globally (Radio FG – Paris, Kiss FM – Melbourne). It also featured on the Ministry of Sound Underground Compilation 2008.
2009 saw gigs in London, Sheffield, New Zealand and Spain and a remix for labelmates Burn the Negative which made the DMC Buzz Chart and was picked up for the Global Underground 2010 compilation.
The studio has now been relocated from his native New Zealand to London and the Hyaa!! EP was released on Gung-ho in March with support from Autokratz, Groove Armada, Japanese Popstars and Greg Churchill. He's also remixed Eddy Temple Morris' band Losers as well as the Japanese Popstars' latest single 'Let Go' featuring the legendary Green Velvet. Gig wise he has played gigs across South America, Europe and New Zealand as well as running his first London Rekonnekted party and One Night Stand night with 10 Rapid, Danny Scott and Kristie Van.
The Northern Winter sees him playing Ministry of Sound tours in Japan and Europe as well as One Night Stand Nights in London and a trip home to New Zealand to play his home country. His club sets range from bass heavy house through indie electro to rolling, big room techno.
