About Me

I make work using animals because they are moored in all facets of my life. From the raven and black cat that came to my window as a baby, countless deer lining the roadway on any country drive, to my current canine companions -- animals are present affecting my life directly as well as indirectly. They act as a barometer to measure small and large fluctuations in the world around me. It would be an understatement for me to say that I only have concern regarding our Earth’s trajectory. I feel that I am in the midst of great change and also powerless, but to watch for these signals and document their movements. In doing so, I create maps, patterns, and templates to possibly understand why so many signals go unnoticed.

What's Shakin':

You are The Hermit

Prudence, Caution, Deliberation.

The Hermit points to all things hidden, such as knowledge and inspiration, hidden enemies, and your darkest secrets. The illumination is from within, and retirement from participation in current events.

The Hermit is a card of introspection, analysis and, well, sexuality. You do not desire to socialize; the card indicates, instead, a desire for peace and solitude. You prefer to take the time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent but these feelings eventually lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.

The Hermit represents a wise, inspirational person, friend, teacher, therapist, and lover. This is a person who can shine a light on things that were previously mysterious and confusing.
