About Me

____________________________________________________________ Kids Design Glass Winner!
We are pleased to announce that Austen Paris (age 11) is the winner of our Kids Design Glass contest. His drawing, titled The Firebird, will be transformed into glass by the Museum of Glass hot shop team. Stay tuned for details about this KMA event featuring a live video feed to the West Coast. Over 750 children submitted drawings for this popular contest. It was a treat to view each one. Although there could only be one winner, KMA is pleased to also have 16 honorable mentions. The curators and staff at KMA are beyond thrilled and impressed with the talent and number of budding artists in the community. Thank you to all participants!____________________________________________________________
Our 9th Annual Literary Lunch, held on December 3rd in
Terrytown, NY, was a tremendous success with 3 notable authors on the panel (from left to right), Michael Beschloss, Jeffrey Toobin, and Thomas Edsall
