Music is my life,passion and energy.I grew up with lots of different genres of music(from rock to top40 charts music,from funk to dance).I breathe music,i live it;day in,day out..Starting at the age of 14 with playing on real drums properly,i've earned a lot of experience with great bands and a lot of great musicians playing different genres.When playing an instrument i tend to play in function of the music or song.The most important thing is laying the groove down with drums,fancy stuff comes later..(these are the great words of the late Tony Thompson and Bernard Edwards (RIP),truly the greatest rhythmsection ever to me.I'm no virtuoso tho,but i'm the kind of "in the heat of the moment player",just let the emotions run...It's your body,soul and heart that speaks mainly.Further on i did some great memorable gigs at Sint-Niklase feesten back in 2000 and the local pub-crawls back then.Also played at the Fonnefeesten (subdivision of Lokerse Feesten)in 2005 and also at Gentse feesten 2007.Did studio sessions with Belgian symphonic rock band Ghiribizzi at ACE soundrecording studio with Frank Van Bogaert and recorded 3 albums with liquid space-rock band Quantum Fantay wich we performed with at Fonnefeesten(subdivision of Lokerse Feesten) in 2005 and at the Burg Herzberg festival-Germany in 2007 for 7000 people!!!.
The genres i mostly like to play are rock,pop,powerpop/rock,jazz-rock,funk and (power)dance.Keep your ears and eyes open,listen and see,practice and explore...The heart and soul that's where it all must come from ...the love for music,not the money...
