Andre Salata (a.k.a. elemental X) is a music lover since the early days. His parents had always showed him all kind of music from all over the world, the key for his ecletical taste!
In the age of 12, he started to play turntables with friends for school radio station and then djing at some friends' bday parties. Years after, he began to learn drums. With a very rock style when drumming, he had some band projects.
But always too closed to electronic music, he decided to start producing some beats in the middle of 2003, when he was making drum'n'bass stuff. In 2005 he took the tempo down and got into breakbeat world. But just in the middle of 2006, he began to produce techno music, summing the love for techno to his broken beats.
This year Elemental X is back djing and is playing at parties with newcomers such as Kike, Semiotic, Angelo Lima, Fabricio MS, Julyukie, Foncek, Diogo Ramos, and also great djs such as Mara Bruiser, Nori, Alemao, Nisek, Juliao and Dave The Drummer.
His work is supported by djs in Brazil, including names such as Dj Murphy, DJ Snoop, Dj Bunnys, Wehbba, Radar, Nisek, Dj Fab and Gisele Azzini.
