She also lived, studied, worked, ministered and utilized the arts and media to evangelize in London, England for 7 years. This globetrotter has traveled all over North America, Africa, Europe, and Saudi Arabia.In London she followed her higher calling and received ministry training at The International Bible Institute of London and The Grace Project Ministry Training Program. While on scholarship, she obtained a Bachelor’s and an Associate’s Degree in Media Production was at (AIU) The American InterContinental University in London, England.Eddra Crook, the first African-American woman to become Student Government President of the American InterContinental University in Great Britain, is founder of numerous student and youth ministries in London, England and the United States including: (“MIA”) Ministries In Action First Student Bible Fellowship at AIU London Campus; MIA at AIU Atlanta, Georgia Campus; (“BASICS”) - Brothers and Sisters in Christ Studying - London, England, and (“YGC”) Youth Gospel Choir at Kensington Temple, London, England.A woman of versatility, Eddra has hands-on experience ministering in front of and behind the scenes. A freelance DJ, Host and Producer of radio shows known as “WORLD-WIDE PRAIZ” and “NU WINE” as well as actress, director, vision mixer, camera operator, crewmember, set assistant for live TV broadcasts and multi-media gospel concerts, and lighting technician for such artists as Ruben Studdard, Tom Joyner, Cupid, David Anthony and others. She was also DJ and host for ministry outreaches and fund raisers for Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club, Project Uplift, Lee County Youth Development Center, Humane Society and Alabama Foster Care Youth.Eddra was the Student Ministry Leader at Kensington Temple one of the largest churches in London, England (over 100 nationalities in this multi-cultural congregation of 10,000 members). As an actress, she has tasted the spotlight in two Christian plays ‘Godswell’, and ‘Dick Wellington Finds His Way’ with Grace Project Creative in London, England. This talented freelance Camera Operator worked for Benny Hinn Ministries at London’s Wembley Arena. Yes, she wore many hats in Dovewell Communication at Kensington Temple as a Director / Vision Mixer / Camera Operator / Crewmember / Set Assistant for live broadcasts, the ‘Power For Living’’ talk show on satellite broadcast, ‘The Temple’ (the youth Multi-media Gospel Concerts starring such artists as Fred Hammond, Andre Crouch, Delirious, Raymond and Co, Noel Robinson, David and Carrie Grant and many more).At present, Eddra is employed at Auburn University for the Graduate Outreach Program, where she supervises the recording of up to 35 video business and engineering classes in a satellite building in order to be streamed online and for the creation of DVD copies to send to Distance Learning Students worldwide.
