Kunio Kishida is a southern rocker from the far east. He is a blues rock guitarist, singer and songwriter.
Natural vocals with passionate guitar sounds that touch your heartstrings are carved into every single note. This new swamp music will get your toes tapping and feet moving along with songs that have fascinating melodic lines that naturally make you laid back and relax. You'll never want to stop listening.
In 1991, Legendary original guitarist for the Allman Brothers Band Dickey Betts and long time friend and bass player Jerry Wasley of Birmingham, Alabama both suggested to Kunio that he should compose and record some original material Kunio recorded his 1st solo album "Swamp Waters" in 2002 and later went on to record his 2nd Solo album "Alabama Boy" in 2004 at the famed Muscle Shoals Sound Studios. Recording industry legend Johnny Sandlin produced both albums. Many legendary musicians of Southern rock played on both recordings.
