Our purpose here is to familiarize
music lovers in Alabama, as well as
music lovers all over the world, with
the outstanding achievements and
the stellar performances of Mr. Perkins,
both in the recording studios and upon
the concert stages of the world, and to
enlist the support of those who feel as
we do, in having Wayne Perkins inducted
into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.
We believe he has earned his place in
music history, and he deserves to be
fully recognized finally for his numerous
accomplishments, and that his induction
is long over-due.
