At Club Azure, he organizes and plays for weekly party on Fridays. His ambition kept him working hard. Not only did he expand his playground in West Japan, but also he extended his network to the national level by traveling as the tour DJ for Ryuzo of MAGUMA MC’s, who was a signed artist of Universal Records back then.
In 2004, he was an opening DJ for DJ ENVY’s Japan Tour and received much recognition throughout Japan. Moreover, his success in the tour resulted in an invitation to radio programs in NY, HOT 97, and playing at DJ ENVY’s Birthday Bash. Likewise, he joined Japan Tour of DJ Evil Dee and Mr. Walt as an opening DJ and rocked shows in many cities. These activities built up his credibility nationwide.
In 2005, DJ Lead opened another club Sound Base SEED with his crew from his hometown Kyoto while he managed his activity as a member of R-Rated Records, which he has been part of since its establishment in the same year. His dedicated hard-work continues to vitalize the hip- hop scene in Kyoto. As weekly party “Booty†on Saturdays at SEED catch many people’s attention, it became one of the hottest hang-out spot for the weekend night life in Kyoto.
As well, “Freakyâ€, a weekly party at Sam & Dave 2 on Sundays in Osaka organized by him as the main DJ and other famous DJs in the city, became staple party as soon as it started. While he expand his network on both national and international level,
he traveled with Ryuzo, CEO of R-Rated Records, and Anarchy, R-Rated Records’ signed artist, for their DOUBLE RELEASE PARTY as the tour DJ and rocked audiences in more than 30 different cities.
