DJ Couz began his nationwide professional career by participating in "Funkmaster Flex Japan Tour" in July 2001 and "Beatnuts Japan Tour" in October 2001. He released Mix CDs after the tours, and the hit of those mix CDs lead DJ Couz to be a household name in Japan.Those Mix CDs, the "Westside Ridin'" series and the "Jack Move" series which use famous US artists' Drops, Freestyles, and those artists' exclusive songs became must-have items among West Coast hip hop fans not only in Japan but also in the U.S.In addition, as "Home Boy from Japan", DJ Couz often makes guest appearances on the morning show "Big Boy's Neighborhood" hosted by Big Boy, the No.1 on-air talent on LA's most popular "Power 106" radio station.As a tour DJ for "Big Boy & DJ E-Man Presents Mickey Fickey Mix Japan Tour" which has been held 10 times by 2006, DJ Couz toured in all parts of Japan with DJ Quik, Xzibit, Kurupt, and other famous artists.Also, the venue owners call DJ Couz's club event "Jack Move" "Significant Sales Event". He is respected as a main DJ, an event planner and organizer, a leader, and a very active man. In L.A., DJ Couz performed as a live DJ for Damizza at House of Blues, Vault 350, and other big venues that hold thousands. Additionally, he joined a part of DJ Quik's tour in the U.S as an opening DJ.Recently, displaying DJ Couz's ability to the full as a producer, he has recorded with Damizza, Fingazz & O'Shey "C-Luv", "Brighter Dayz" in Katrina Relief "UNITED", Knoc-Turn'al, 2nd II None, Lil' Eazy-E, among others. Moreover, since he provided the beat to the hit commercial "Kevin Jewelers" heavily rotated on Power 106, hip-hop fans in L.A. are familiar with his sound.His global activities caught attention of "dubcnn.com", and he was introduced on this most popular US hip-hop website. He has shown his talents as a club DJ for a long period, a Mixtape DJ, a beat maker, an event producer, and a recording studio producer. Using his connections to various artists he has cultivated in L.A., he is currently working on his own project.
