About Me

Start to play trumpet at 7 years old. Start to play jazz in unversity. Had a lesson from Eddie Henderson and join Barry Harris' workshop several times while visited in NYC.Released 2 albums in 2001 and 2003 which is now called Nu-Jazz progurammed all tracks by myself but trumpet from Personnage Recordings produced by Yuzuru Agi.Established Bay Area Jazz Ensemble to re-evalate westcoastjazz in its mid50s.Wrote regular artcle for Jazz Life magazine about improvisation for jazz beginners.Played with young Finn trumpet player Jukka Eskola of the Five Corners Quintet in Feb. 2006.Besides trumpet player, often work as a translator for jazz educational program by Eddie Henderson, Scott Reeves, Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Bob Reeves and so onbands Bay Area Jazz Ensemble:Octet plays westcoast style in its50s. Play Every saturday in YokohamaNonet'49: plays music of Miles' Birth of the CoolJazz Orchestra"TOKYO EDITION":jazz orchestra plays modern bigband charts which aren't introduced and recognized in Japan.Small band: Various formats, both acuostic and electric.
