About Me

HEY GUYS HOWS THINGS, WHATS HAPPENING?

First of all guys I'd like to say welcome one and all, and thanks for checking out my site. So what can I say about myself. Im 19 years old, and was born and raised (for the most part) in Melbourne, Australia. (For you international guests thats the bottom right corner on the coast.) I'm about 6 foot, slim to slender build with very dark hair and eyes. At the moment I work at a couple of steel works factories most of the week, but I've recently finished a TAFE course in Hospitality: Bar & Barista work. I love coffee and really want to become an experience barista. I spend my spare time in a variety of ways these days. I'm either at my favorite cafe Limoncello, talking with friends and locals while scoreing free meals from the kitchen staff and the occasional "mistake coffee" from whomever's behind the espresso machine.

I love to spend my nights with mates at Melbourne's numerous pubs, bars and gig houses. But on the other I enjoy just chillin on my bean bag, plugged into headphone or amp and reading anything from travel, fantasy, autobiography to buddhist and zen teachings. I dont read the paper much these days though with all the nasty jazz happening these days. It either get my really angry or depressed and I dont like either of those sides of me.

I havnt the slightest clue why my mates say I'm exceptionally random at times.

I used to work at a video store so I still get cheap dvds. Nothing like vegging out with your mates with a few choice dvds and a couple of beers. Although I am a partial slave to concert dvds and anything anime or foreign cinema.

As I've said before I love music which is one of the reasons I feel blessed to live in Melbourne. Probably the most cultrally diverse part of Australia. This gives me the oppurtunity to experience and enormous range of music styles and up coming talent on just one city street alone. But I also enjoy keeping an ear out for any big international acts performing stadium gigs (I love a good mosh pit.....dont you?)

Usually my lifes ambition was to chill with friends at bars with good live music and getting to meet new and interesting people, possibly getting a little drunk at the same time. But ever since I was little I've had this great desire to travel the world and immerse myself in its vast culture's. I've never wanted to be your average tourist working his ass off for 6 months then going on a 10 week holiday, where he tries to get as many photos of himself infront of landmarks as possible before he has to get back on the bus and move onto the nexr site. Then he comes back with all these photos, but no real stories or experiences with the people that live there.

Ive already got some minor experience with trades. Im working on getting more hospitality experience, also Im looking into teaching english overseas. I plan to save my money for a couple of years and then just set off and live in each country for as long as possible, or untill I get board. Just work my way across the globe meeting new people, trying new foods, discovering new music, exploring the history, making life long friends. Thats how I measure success in life, your friends and the connections that you make with people on the way.

Thats why Ive created this site. So when I finally start my journey I can keep in touch with all my friends and family. (More importantly its to leave messages of where I'm going to next so my grandma doesnt worry to much. She may be old but she a machine, I swear shes going to outlive me.)

So like I said Ive created this site to help make new friends and keep in touch with the ones Ive already got. So if any of you out there want to chat or anything just give me a yell and I will answer your call. No worries.

Well thats enough from me for now, have fun guys and enjoy the rest of your day/night. Hope to hear from you all soon.

PEACE!!!

My Interests

Im not sure if I've mentioned this yet but I LOVE MUSIC! Albums, gigs, concerts, festivals. (Falls Festival is the best way to spend four days over new years.) Movies are always good to. But most of all I love spending time with my friends at our different bars and music houses. We can throw a mean BBQ party aswell, cant forget that.

I'd like to meet:

This is where most people would say who there favourite actor/singer or life hero is and why they'd want to meet them but I don’t really have anyone like that.

I've met and spoken with famous people before but what I've found is that its generally everyday people who I get the biggest high from talking to. That’s all I really want from life. To have the chance to get to meet and get to know new people from all walks of life.

This one of the main reasons why I want to travel the world. Huge monuments, world wonders, exotic food, these things are all great but it's the people you meet on the way you remember. So in short I suppose I'd like to meet everyone I possibly can.

ROCK & ROLL! Music is a huge part of my, to tell you the truth it's what I live for. I discovered at an early age growing up in a musical environment that there's far too much talent and skill out there to just dedicate myself to one or two styles of music.
