"great stuff- wonderful voice, catchy tune" - Rosie Beaton, Triple J .......A passionate and captivating performer, Ronit has developed a devoted following around Australia. Audiences are drawn to her strong vocals, emotive lyrics and fiery guitar playing. It’s a melting pot of soul, roots and rock with hints of Middle Eastern-inspired melody, due in part to her Israeli heritage.
Before emerging as a solo artist, Ronit played in several bands in Melbourne and toured with The Red Eyes as a backing vocalist. She is now accompanied by a live band featuring some of Melbourne’s finest musicians, creating a reputation as one of the city’s premier live acts.
Ronit released her EP ‘Heavy’ through MGM in June 2009 and is currently in the studio recording her debut album with producer Damien Charles(The Redeyes/Gotye), which she plans to release early 2010.
