my ancestors...I have a few questions for them.
extremely broad spectrum for me here.... I like classic rock and really hard rock but I dont care for 95% of radio rock...I think it sorta sucks. I like rap but I preffer harder rap. I like hip hop beats but most of the lyrics are pretty dumb....I can only truly appreciate that genre when they are so dumb that its helarious....so with that Im torn. I love old school punk...not the crap that people consider punk nowadays. I like really old country...the twangy soulful stuff...again...not 'todays' country. There will never be another Patsy Cline or Johnny Cash/June Carter and thats just how it is. I even like Bluegrass and old French cabaret music. I HATE techno and although I appreciate Jazz, I just cant really get into it. Now last but definitely not least...I LOVE the Blues. There is NOTHING like a good Blues song!
I love a lot of movies and couldn't even begin to scratch the surface on this one. hmmm...a few are... Urban Cowboy, The Krays, Elizabeth, Barbarella ,City of God (Brazillian film}, American History X, Sante Sangre {spanish flick}, The Missing, Rock n Roll High School, Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels(Snatch was decent too but it was a rip off of Lock Stock}, Old School, Splender in the Grass, The Shining, The Breakfast Club, Tommy, Mystic River, Rocky Horror, the Hunger ,Almost Famous, Decline of Western Civilization {the Punk Years}, Hamlet, Blow, Wonderland, Legend, Outlaw Jose Wales, Giant, Animal House, Gone With the Wind, The Wall, etc and so on.....and on and on...
I like mostly public television specials on ancent civilizations,animals,history,science&theory etc.. I love CSI!!! {the Vegas one}, Biography shows, Travel shows, Chappelle Show, Mad TV, Unex Mysteries, Ultimate Fighting, Basketball...and of course the shows that sell me really good products at 3 a.m. when I cant sleep.
anything on Edgar Cayce, Anrija Puharich, metaphysical studies/theory, holistic medicine, re-incarnation...or the many unaswered questions of the world, philosophy, mysterious places,ancient religions and some current, lost civilizations etc...non fiction all the way.
