In the begining,The metal juggernaut now known as To Hell With Em, was once known as
Nunwhore Butchery. The music had a vastly different sound as well the lyrical
content was geared more in a horror/gore fashion. As well as the music and lyrical content being quite different, the line-up was much different.
In the begining, it was Terrible Tony behind the drum kit, J.P. Fontaine (Amongst The Filth) on guitar,
Metal Mike on bass, Dan Waylett on guitar, and Edmond Whiteside on vocals.
Winds of change were upon us, as Dan Waylett was relieved of his duties thus changing the band to a four piece. A few months down the line, once again the landscape of the band changed as new drummer Gabrial Pitre was inducted into
the hate machine. Due to Pitre now manning the drums, Metal Mike changed to guitar and Terrible Tony strapped on the bass.
A summer of pain staking recordings were done to no avail as the heat and other obstructions were placed in the way leading to
exit of vocalist Edmond Whiteside.
With a void on vocals, J.P. took on the role as well as guitar. Much of the back-up vocal parts were done by Metal Mike, and Terrible Tony. The next step, J.P. Fontaine decided to put down the guitar to focus mainly on vocals, leaving Metal Mike the lone guitar player.
At this point, the moniker "Nunwhore Butchery" had run it's course, thus a new name was chosen...this leading to the birth of To Hell With Em.
Recordings were done, a self titled ten song cd was produced and shows were played.
Things began to slow down in the camp. At this time singer J.P. Fontaine and drummer Gabrial Pitre decided to exit the band for a new killing machine known
as Amongst The Filth.
With the vacancy of Pitre and Fontaine Terrible Tony and Metal Mike were forced to put To Hell With Em on hiatus while each did side
projects. Terrible Tony creating TERRIBLE. As well Metal Mike dabbling in Cold World and other projects.
Now, after the caskett has been lowered into the ground and the last rites have been spoken. There is a new pulse....a hatepulse!
Fall of 2007, is the re-birth of
TO HELL WITH EM
