Armed with their explosive, and incredibly heavy thrash sound which has been influenced greatly by bands like Sepultura, Obituary, Slayer and Kreator to name a few, they have burst onto the Winnipeg metal scene instantly after Visions of Pain was released. Since their first performance, to their latest, they are known for their great presence, and sounding extremely crisp, tight, and loud. Besieged's fanbase is constantly expanding. Their fans are as big of rabid metalheads as the band members themselves. They have been causing so much mayhem and violence at shows, ending up getting Besieged banned from the West End Cultural Center.Still young, but incredibly talented, Besieged make it loud and clear that they are a strong presence in the Winnipeg metal scene.
