The World Famous Melne, whose unlikely moniker was bestowed by a high-ranking music industry executive's receptionist (true!), blames her guitar monomania on one band: Blue Oyster Cult . Initially seduced by the sonorous sounds of their cowbell, she considered devoting her life to its dulcet tones--but noting a lack of demand in the field, chose instead to engage in a lifelong skirmish with a block of wood and six little strings.
TWFmelne relishes playing and performing the gamut of styles from jazz and funk to rock and punk and everything in between. Her animated guitar histrionics, which can only be blamed on a diet heavy in sugar and caffeine, are fueled by Starbucks® and brought to you by the CoverGrrlz .
