The Bass Maiden

About Me

I currently play with the CoverGrrlz - the hardest rocking cover band in Northern California!
I banged on the bass for ~15 years before meeting some great bass teachers who have helped me to actually LEARN the instrument!
In 2006 I was fortunate enough to study with the great bass MASTER, Stuart Hamm and in 2007 when he ran away on world tours galore, I met Troy Tipton , the prog-metal GAWD from the band Zero Hour who is currently continuing my low-end education.
The love of my life is an early 90s Pearl White Fender Precision Lyte Bass, customized with Seymour Duncan Performer Pickups and Bad Ass II Bridge, (her name is Taryn). Her brother (Gonzo) is a mid '80s Aria Pro II Bass, customized with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder Pickups.
