Since I don't get a lot of comedy from films I get it mostly from TV. Although I don't watch a whole lot cus of this wonderful invention called the interwab. I like Family Guy, The Simpsons, American Dad, Father Ted, My Name Is Earl, Scrubs, The Young Ones, Blackadder, Brass Eye, Jam, Billy Connolly, Bill Hicks (dunno of that counts as TV), Lost, Oz, Deadwood, 24, Battlestar Galatica, Firefly, Heroes and if you did'nt think that nerdy enough heres some cartoons: Spiderman, Batman, Superman and Justice League animated series, Ulysses 31, Transformers the original series, Spawn animated series.
Books:
I don't have that much of an extensive book collection, I kind of get into one author and stick with it. The main author for me would have to be Terry Pratchett, his Discworld books take me to the fair, buys me candy floss (or cotton candy) and wins me a goldfish in the shooting gallery. Other than that I enjoy Clive Barker, Thomas Harris, Anne Rice, Irvine Welsh, Shaun Hudson, Douglas Adams, some H P Lovecraft and some old Stephen King. I also liked Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and recently, with some reluctance at the start, the Harry Potter books.
Heroes:
I don't know about this and I've been thinkin about it, I could put a load of comic book characters or authors or historical icons or bass players who have really inspired me but I think in the here and now it would probably be my Mum, my family and my friends who have been there when I needed them especially going through the shit over the last year or so, I'll not put names down but I'm fairly sure they know who they are. Thanks with all my heart. Now enough of this shit back to the metal!
