Becoming increasingly known for his fast feet and Dave Lombardo stylized drumming, Antony is the pounding force behind the awesomely heavy Irish metal act Residual Effect.
With the release of their new E.P "In A World Where Pain Is God" taking off, you can see why Residual Effect are creating both fan and media frenzy.
"I think the first time I even seen a drumkit was when a friend from school asked if he could store his drums in my garage, I pretty much just hung around when Michael came in to jam, I never really thought about trying to play an instrument until that time and drums looked cool, I didn't actually start playing until about 2000 when I had suffered third degree burns in a house fire and was told I might have a limited use of my right arm and leg, so I ended up playing drums and forming my first band Corrupted.
What better way of proving doctors wrong than doing something so physical like playing drums, I think because of that I made my limbs work and apart from a bit of scarring well they work perfectly.
After the split with Corrupted I hooked up with my buddies from another band that had recently split and Residual Effect was born."
To date Residual Effect have shared the stage with bands such as DevilDriver, Cephalic Carnage, Born From Pain, Firebird, Slit, Nevermore, Ten Years, Soulfly, Skinless, Visceral Bleeding, Panic Cell and American Head Charge.
