- P!P-tOnes are a rather new rec. label (we started up in june 2006), we'll try to bring ya some great unsigned band, or band that in one way or another is hard to get, the mainstream in the production will be MOD, PowerPoP, Garage with a 60s touch & psych, but in time other kind of alternative band'll show up to...- We started our production with a rather unorthodox modband, Punx !n Parkas, most people would say that they a li'l bit more punx than mods actually, but they produced a 12 track-CD called "TotalModness" [pipcd001/2006] with some ol' mod/garage songs in some outrageous versions... The second issue for P!P-tOne was a 5 piece-suit with the niteborn dandys from the gutter De Osaligas Kapell, & their tribute to the swedish anarchist Stig Dagerman, released at their 15 years anniversary, and they simply called it "De Osaligas kapell - Tolkar Stig Dagerman" [pipcd002/2006]... for further info see the blog "P!P-tOnes gives birth to PunxInParkas & DeOsaligasKapell...- in a very near future, this fall, we are planning to produce a compilation with scandinavian MOD/Garage-band that goes under the name of "ModModWorld 1 - up north", and it 'll contains band as Moderns from Malmö, Absolute Beginners & Modesty from Norköping, the Men from Lund, Marble from Sunsvall among others, the list isnt quite full filled yet but'll be very soon... for further info. please see the forthcommin' blog, but most of the band can be found here at MySpace...
