Band Members: Tim Balash and Mike Silverman have been making music for a combined total of 438 years. Previous and ongoing projects have included The Maykings, Old Reliable (including solo work with Mark Davis and Shuyler Jansen), The Chrome Magpies, The Naked and the Dead, Shady Pines, and the pre-spandex version of Big House (aka Big Whore). All these many gigs have given them the good fortune to have opened for the likes of K'Naan, No Means No, Green Day, The Corb Lund Band, DOA, The Sadies, The North Mississippi Allstars, Husker Du drummer Grant Hart, Richard Buckner, The Smalls, The Doers, The Supersuckers, and Elliot Brood. More impressively, none of the above were to suffer any perceptible drop in performance revenue after putting the future Vultures on the bill.
Sounds Like: "The Velvet Underground with lots of delay and reverb while Lee Perry yells incomprehensible instructions. Dirty hippies run away screaming in every direction.""An impressive two-man display of punk, funk, roots, reggae, blues, rock'n'roll, psychedelic post-something, and god knows what else given what certainly could be called a dub treatment, but it may be more accurate to say it's all ran through some crazy-ass tape loop set-up. And somehow they slipped in a cover by The Band."
