Hey! and thanks for looking at this profile.I hope i this as entertaining as my cinematic movies you seem to enjoy. Ok, so I am an actor, I have been in movies since 1976. I love to entertain people, and love to make them get drawn into the story to which I am telling. I have been entertaining people since before I was in movies. As a kid I was that prankster, the joker, who got the teachers all pissed off. – I once had a contest with my mates in Australia, to see who could get whipped more, I won...- I would sneek into cinemas as a kid, and enjoy all the great actors of the time. I didn’t have a TV as a kid or much media, we (me and my 9 siblings) would play a lot outside as kids. We found ways to enjoy ourselves with things that weren’t pertaining to the media. I was named the first ever sexiest person alive-I hated it – but that is the business I am in. I have won blockbuster awards, people choice awards, show west awards, MTV awards, and my greatest accomplishment, the Oscars. As a teenager I started drinking, and it wasn’t all bad, except for the stupid moments when I lost my head. Then in April of 1984, I got arrested in Canada, for drunk driving, and I made myself put alcohol away. For the better of my family. And I was the best thing I ever did for myself and my family. Life was better after that, and I am glad I got out of the grip of the “boozeâ€. My job, family, friends, and life were better off without it. Now I recently had a relapse, I realize that I should have kept it under control. But who is perfect right? I hate the fact that since I am under the spotlight, everything is blown way out of proportion. I hate when they have me in a corner when I am vulnerable. But am working through it. And I will be a better person for this life’s lesson. This was a wake up call, and I am glad that I can fix the problem before it gets way out of control. I want to be here for the grand-kids, ya-know? Just to let you know i may not respond to anyones letter, due to the fact that i get soooooo many that i cant keep up. Oh boy, its promotion time. press and talk shows here i come. i am gonna be out everywhere to promote my new film "Apocalypto". so is the life of Mel Gibson. If you could please not write me.I cant keep up with the 20-30 letters a day. although i do appreciate it greatly. And there are no favorites as far as my friends list, if i could i would have everyone as my top friends. i wish i could hide them. maybe i can figure it out later. The truth is that I love my job. I love making people laugh, cry, scream, jump, and totally get into a movie. And I hope to be entertaining the world for a long time to come.
