Who I wouldn't like to meet:
People who base their lives around what a "scene (fashion, music, etc)" expects of them
Homophobes & racists - I used to think this should go without saying, but the internet has a way of bringing assholes together.
Teenage housepunks w/superiority complexes that think they know everything about puuuunk raawwk dude. God. Give me a break.
Myspace collectors. - Most of my "friends" are bands, I'm here mostly for them, not to be collected by you.
Really though, I'm actually a very sweet girl & not all that bitchy. Myspace has just left me a little jaded.
I hate how few people Myspace lets you put in your "top" people.
A lot of people not in my top 24 have touched my life in a positive way that I'll never forget. I'm thinking of going back to bands. Yea. I'm going to do that.
This about sums it up.
Well, maybe not. but either way, there are theremins involved.
though I am open to anything with creativity and passion, dark post-punk and avant-garde electronic music have and always will be my favorites.

Lilo and Stitch
(any cutesy cartoon that takes place around the beach about a genetically engineered killing machine who learns to love is A-OK WITH ME!).
I tend not to like anime. It's usually all girls with eyes bigger than their heads with projectile tears & a lot of lame fantasy fighting. I just don't get it. Though the tentacle rape in some of the more hardcore stuff is a pretty hilarious concept.
Television - The Marquee Moon (C)1977
I remember
how the darkness doubled
I recall
lightning struck itself.
I was listening
listening to the rain
I was hearing
hearing something else.
Life in the hive puckered up my night,
the kiss of death, the embrace of life.
There I stand neath the Marquee Moon Just waiting,
Hesitating...
I ain't waiting
I spoke to a man
down at the tracks.
I asked him
how he don't go mad.
He said "Look here junior, don't you be so happy.
And for Heaven's sake, don't you be so sad."
Well a Cadillac
it pulled out of the graveyard.
Pulled up to me
all they said get in.
Then the Cadillac
it puttered back into the graveyard.
And me,
I got out again.
Kafka, Burroughs, Ray Bradbury, George Orwell, Neil Gaiman, RE:Search music books etc I don't read as much as I used to. It's sad. I need to get back on the ball.
