About Mogi:
Like many artists, Mogi’s love for electronic music began with Hip-Hop and Electro. What began with Rap music, slowly evolved into Electronic music, 10 years later. Mogi found himself searching for records and tapes of the then hit genre “Britcore”, which was darker and more underground. Dark and unfriendly voices and beats, commonly found in horror and action movies permeated the UK dance scene. UK-Breaks stars like George Clinton and Norman Cook ruled the underground club scene.After few years of Britcore and Breakbeat, Mogi was introduced to the world of Techno. Within 3 days, Mogi realized this music was his passion. F.E.O.S & HEIKO M.S.O at PV-Records were the first records he bought, with many more hundred to come. A normal week for Mogi was spent looking for as much vinyl as he possibly could to play out to his audiences. 6 years later, Mogi entered the world of production and his highly acclaimed label, Wolkenfunken Recordings was born. Unique.. intelligent..intricate.. vivid. These are the words to describe Mogi’s distinct style of Techno. Techno, Mogi’s way. The way of the future.
