... deep in the valley of Stemwede (near Osnabrück) in Germany, there is an old tavern called 'Waldfrieden', which means 'Forest Peace'; over the last ten years, party freaks have taken hold of this place and are regularly celebrating Planet Waldfrieden parties ... until today.
What began with rock and punk parties, later developed into techno and house events, until the psy-trance family found their home in the 'Waldfrieden'. At first they only held small ceremonies in the shed, but meanwhile the happening has been extended to the main house.
Now, at least one or two psy-trance events take place every month. Occasionally, there are 70's parties or concerts. Every year on the 30th of April, the traditional "Hai in den Mai" open-air festival takes place, with dancing space on several floors -- and enough room in the forest to chill out at a campfire or in the outside hammocks near the backyard-dancefloor.
In order not to disturb the forest peace of the residents (yes, we also have residents in the forest -- you can't see them, but they can hear us!), the volume/bass can only be pumped up at the annual Wonderland International Psy Trance Festival, which attracts people from allover the country; they set up their tents on the adjacent meadows and celebrate this event with us. There is plenty of dancing on the two dance floors on a mountain plateau, or you can chill out on the mountain slope or on the clearance in the magical forest.
And sometimes, 'Waldfrieden' goes on tour, in order to rock with you at other locations! The dates for these 'Waldfrieden on Tour' events can be found in the calendar above or on our website.
