Leif Hatfield is working as a musician and DJ since 1996 and has had endless releases on Sunset Recordings, Plastik Park Records, Tatsu Rec, Ibooga Rec., Transient Rec., Sprout Music, Mutekki and will certainly soon appear on a major (label). Plenty of booking on a sheer mass of events make him one of the most experienced DJs there are.
He satisfies even the most sophisticated listener with energetic fresh sets and superb skills.
He is also one of the founders of the legendary Weststadt a well-known location in western Germany, where regular club events with up to 4.000 people have taken place in the 90s.
He started producing electronic body music at the age of 14 alone on his Amiga at first, before he became a drummer in several rockbands.
Inspired by his DJ-gigs he then gets more and more into all kinds of electronic music. Influenced by this time he released his first tunes on vinyl and became a Sunset Recordings house producer. In 2000 he began to study media design for electronic broadcast and has already worked for MAWA Digitainment Lab as a sound engineer.
