For this 19th release MIS presents "2 Working Donkeys" a brand new act. After spending many years in the clubs, its now time for them to give something back to clubland. Time was well spent in the studio and resulted in this, their debut release.
A1 "Malaria" revolves around a subtle hypnotizing bassline and mutant technoid sounds. It features a dark underground universe kind of like a mono tripping sensation. Recommeded for the rawest of clubs and the meanest of DJs.
B1 "Malaria" (JohnSpring Malarone Mix) John Spring is on the remix duty and delivers the bouncy treatment. An uplifting and cheerful melody has been added to this playful groover which will force even the moodiest clubber to surrender. Certainly a future favorite for the Berlin massive.

Behind the 18th release are 3 locals from Berlin. Philip Bader joins forces with Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner to rock your socks off. Just like they do in every weekend back to back with a dj calendar busy as fuck. Off course they are producers well renowned in their own right and this EP is a good example why. So please do yourself a favor… Get out your favorite dancing shoes, go to your local club and hand the resident DJ this 3 track belter cause it’s fookin’ massive. Innit!?!
A1 "Frog" Expect stripped down dry as a bone funky minimal techno when you put this on your sound system. It features a wobbling killer bass line and a haunting looped melody guaranteed to lock you in a groove. Add to that some warping and playful sound effects and you've got... Frog.
B1 "Bird" A track so weirdly twisted and still wonderful that you won't believe it. Imagine the Mario Brothers of Nintendo fame. Then imagine them on their day off having a blast at their local techno club what that would sound like. In one corner Luigi would eat his mushroom to get 1up while Mario is in the dj booth is throwing sonic fireballs at the punters. Check out the highscore on this one.
B2 "Rabbit" With this rabbit we say expect the unexpected. Jumping from one hole to another, never staying in one place. The pumping bass blends nicely with some really delicate chopped up and funny vocal bits. All of it crowned with a tinkling harp like instrument which surely will raise some eyebrows.

Alejandro Vivanco from the Chilean minimal techno mafia teams up with Portuguese born and bred Thinkfreak on this 3 tracker EP. While Thinkfreak is a new kid on the block with 3 releases so far in his scrapbook, two by Sonic Culture/Kompakt, Vivanco is certainly by no means a stranger to clubland with tracks featuring on several compilations. Luciano, Locodice and Dominik Eulberg are just some who has craved his irresistible work in the studio.
A1 "Respirar" Expect no nonsense peak time stuff when listening to this. It’s something dynamic and has a groove that’ll lock you in when being on the floor and something that has no intention letting you go once you’ve surrendered.
B1 "130 Rockets" On the 130 Rockets track the duo really takes it up a notch with a bouncy bassline, a twisted melody and a sweet robot voice. Guaranteed this will move feets if being played at a dark, sweaty low-ceiling club.
B2 "Drunkgroove" This track is a real groover that sets out in subtle way. No big gestures here. But suddenly layers and layers come gushing towards you leaving you no option but to nod your head. Expect lush strings and a bouncy bassline.
