Jens Bond

Jens was born in 1975 in Oldenburg, Germany. His interest in music began at an early age, playing the drums in various bands at the age of 14. First contact with electronic music came at the age of 21 while the club scene in Bremen was beginning to explode. This first contact immediately infecting him with the house-virus, making him trade in his drum kit for two Technics 1210s, soon giving him the chance to prove his skills successfully in various clubs in and around Bremen and Oldenburg. In 2000 he moved to Berlin to widen his musical horizons and to get into the real club scene. Thanks to some contacts he had made and his obvious talent on the wheels of steel he soon made himself a name in the Berlin Club scene playing clubs like: TRESOR, MARIA, PANORAMABAR, WATERGATE, PFEFFERBANK,CLUB DER VISIONAERE, BAR 25 to name a few. To describe his musical style you would have to say its freaky, minimalistic tech-house. As long as it flows. Jens began his residency at the Watergate in 2003, where he also hosts a monthly club night - Sleep Another Day. Jens made his vinyl debut in 2004 with the release "OH MY BUFFER" on Pokerflat Recordings with Guido Schneider, "the bird flu e.p." in september 2006 on highgrade records and in november 2006 "tentacular" on sender records together with benno blome.
