Mirkovich, as a surname for Mirko, his real name,called mirkovich when he works,is an half italian half suisse guy who was born in Neuchâtel in 1976. Since he was a child, he always had been a big interest for electronic music. This passion worked on him and in 1993 was the revelation’s year for Mirkovich. Since that time, he started to buy his first vinyls. His first influences were house and hard house music. After many musical experiences, he chose his final style, the underground music. In 1994, he performed for the first time in many famous locals clubs at that time. (Casino de la rotonde, Case à chocs, Plastik etc…) From 1995 and for a few years, his style got specialized and that’s why he could have been able to perform in the most famous swiss rave partys as Goliath, Atlantis, WipeOut, Gladiators etc…He also had the honour to perform with some international dj’s as Eric Morillo, Laurent Garnier, Deep Dish and many more. 1999 was the big clubbing come back in Switzerland. He started to work on a clubber style music more than before. He performed in clubs as the Love Zoo in Neuchatel and in Thun, where he became the monthly resident dj. His famous sets allowed him to play in the best after party clubs in Switzerland. In 2006 was another revalation’s year for Mirkovich. He went for the first time in the studios as a producer with his bro Dj Nukem to record his first single called “Family’s Work†by Superyellow recordings label. At that time, he went on performing in Switzerland and became the resident dj of the Legend club in Biel. His name was getting famous in the middle of the electronic music and he was called to perform in Dijon (France) at the Colors Club and at the Freestyle Bar. International career was hers then. In 2007, Mirkovich went back to the studios with his bro Dj Nukem, and they produced together a new single called Frozen, by a Romanian label, Minimouse.
