Ummmm okies, where should I begin. Honestly I set up this page to share my new found interest in the art of vintage doll restoration.How this all began is somewhat still quite strange to me, for as I child I was not really ever interested in dollies. Not that I was Robinson Caruso, but I was some what of a tree swinger, if you know what I mean. Playing in the woods, building forts, admiring nature, wading in the creeks... There u got the picture? Lolz!All right here goes the rest of the story. Approximately 10 years after my mothers passing my father delivered me a load of stuff that he had cleared out of the attic. Most of the items were either toys or something that brought a memory to my childhood. In this heap of stuff I was rambling through I discovered a very beautiful doll. Funny as it seems... I must have not fancied it too much for it was spotless.Sowwy all... But the last few months my doll interest and other interest were smothered with the hunt for a RV, in to which I have finally finished. Thanks GOD~ What a job! I purchased a 1971 GMC Bus Conversion... Now I just got to learn how to drive it.lol!!! In a couple of months I will head up to the state of Minnesota and pick her up and sled her back home to NC.I still got the doll thing going on and when I find the time I will share the rest of my story here on myspace wif ya~...
